Similar to Ethereum and other networks, Moonriver network requires **$MOVR** token in order to do transactions on the network. You can obtain **$MOVR** from the Solarbeam faucet upon using the bridge, or you can obtain them from [supported exchanges](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/moonriver#markets).

## Moonriver Network Settings

You can manually configure your wallet, by adding Moonriver network with the following settings:

Network Name: 
MOVR - Mainnet

New RPC URL: 
https://rpc.moonriver.moonbeam.network

Chain ID (optional): 
1285

Symbol (optional): 
MOVR

Block Explorer URL: 
https://blockscout.moonriver.moonbeam.network
```

### Step 1. Configuring Wallet in Metamask

### Step 2. Adding Moonriver Network

After you've opened the Network tab, scroll down and click "Custom RPC"

### Step 3. Fill in the details

Fill in the details with the Moonriver settings (at the top of this page).
